Pedal for the Medal (P4M)

This time of the year, as summer wanes, it’s easy to get tired of the rides you’ve been taking all season. Don’t forget to mix it up! We’re fortunate enough to have many wonderful bike routes just outside our doors in Great Falls. A few to take:

Bootlegger Trail: Ride up the hill, out Bootlegger Trail and toward the Benton Lake Wildlife Refuge. In the morning, you’ll see deer and plenty of birds. A ride that challenges you with some hill work. 

Highwood: Head out Highway 89 and then turn left to get on the Highwood Road. You can ride to Belt and back or opt for a shorter ride. This is another one that offers some leg-strengthening hills.

Eden Route: Ride out of Ulm toward the Eden Bridge for a ride along a lovely, winding road where you’re bound to see wildlife and enjoy the scenery. Start in Great Falls if you want to…
