What to Bring on a Campout?

Troop 26;

In preparation for our campout this weekend, and recognizing that a number of you have recently crossed over from Cub Scouts, I wanted to make sure that you know what to bring with you on a campout.

Your Scout book should be the first place you look for this information. There are also a number of websites that summarize the requirements very well. One great resource for these lists can be found at http://www.scoutlists.com/Spring/Mountains/Male/Weekend-Troop-Campout.aspx .

One fun activity at this campout can be fishing. If you want to fish, please bring your fishing gear. Please remember that if you are 12 or over, you also need a fishing license.

We will not be doing a bag check for this campout. If you have questions about what to bring, please make a point to ask them!

Yours in Scouting,

Mr. Weissman
