Troop Ski Day on Saturday!
Hello Troop 26! This last week we finished up this month’s theme of leadership. We explored the similarities and differences between us, and how we can use them to work together as a team to accomplish a goal.
Ski Day is right around the corner! It will be at showdown this Saturday. the hill opens at 9:30 am and lessons begin at 10:00 am. We will meet at the Natatorium at 7:00 am, and try to be at showdown at 8:30. Don’t forget to bring wool socks, ski goggles, snow pants, and other cold weather gear. You will also need a sack lunch and/or money if you plan on buying food there. If you are not on the list and want to go, please contact Mr. Weissman or Eagle Scout Jordan Christian as soon as possible!
Merit Badge University is April 9 at Carroll College in Helena. The popular merit badges fill up fast, and we will be initially registering Scouts to attend when registration opens this weekend. Send your list of merit badge choices to Mr. Weissman or Mr. Dover NO LATER THAN Friday, February 26. A list of available classes is available at https://meritbadgeu.wordpress.com/mbu4-offerings/
Next week we will be meeting early for our Troop movie night! Be at the church at 6:30 pm because we will be watching “October Sky” for the Citizenship in the Community merit badge. We will be getting out at the usual time. There will be food. Hope to see you there!
