Troop Music Program Starts on Monday!
Hello troop 26!
This last meeting we met at 6:30 and watched “October Sky” for the Citizenship in the community merit badge. We also handed out coupon books for the scouts to sell to help the troop and earn money for their scout account. We will be selling them until the 15th of March, and everything is due by the 31st.
This last Saturday the troop went to Showdown for a skiing trip. We stayed all day, and it was a blast! They held lessons for the more inexperienced scouts that were very helpful and taught the basics well.
Brennan Lukas, an eagle scout of our troop, is in San Antonio, Texas for basic training and would love to hear from the scouts. If you want to talk to him, write a letter and present it at the next scout meeting, which is on the 8th. We will gather your notes and send them to Brennan. He would love to hear from his Troop while at Basic!
Our March Patrol Leader’s Council will be this coming Monday, March 7 at 6pm at Trinity Lutheran Church (1226 1st Ave N). As always, at the PLC we will be putting together our monthly schedule. All Green-Bar positions should attend (SPL, ASPL, PLs, APLs, QM, Scribe, etc.)
Our regularly scheduled Troop meeting will follow at 7pm at Trinity Lutheran. Since March is “Music in our Schools Month”, we will be following a music program for the next few meetings! It should be a lot of fun, see you there!
