We had a great time at Spring Camporee. Only one casuality. Tyler cut the end of his finger with his hatchet. . but there were so many scouts there with a first-aid kit, his finger was mummified in no time.
We missed you Eric and hope you are feeling better.
We missed Mr & Mrs Lucas as well and we were glad to have Mr LaBelle there.
Thank you Mr Locke for your invaluable leadership. . .
James was picked as the Troops Best Camper. . . . !
Scouting isn’t there only common interest.
Troop 26 took advantage of the heat today by going biking. Four adults and four scouts met at the Gibson band shell for an 11.2 mile ride on the River’s Edge Trail. There route took them across the river and almost to Black Eagle Park where a “trail closed” sign sent them back across the river. From there, they went to the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and back to the band shell. During the ride, they rose in elevation 232 feet. Then we all went home THE END.
